BARDEX® I.C. product imageBARDEX® I.C. is a silver alloy catheter coated with hydrogel which has been developed to improve the patient experience and reduce the risk of catheter associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI). Uniquely for a silver coated Foley catheter, the product has a Class III CE Mark from the MHRA.

The BARDEX® I.C. silver alloy and hydrogel coated Foley catheter has a class III CE mark and is licensed for single use for up to 28 days. The product is latex based, has a 10mL integral balloon and is supplied sterile in single units in a box of 5. Each Foley catheter includes a 10mL pre-filled syringe of sterile water, is suitable for use via either urethral or supra-pubic insertion and is available in either standard (12Ch-24Ch) or female (12Ch-16Ch) lengths.
